The Tigard Police Officers’ Association is a non-profit organization that represents both sworn and non-sworn members of the Tigard Police Department, providing a unified voice for those who protect and serve the City of Tigard’s residents, businesses and community members.

our history

The Tigard Police Officers Association was established in 1972, and proudly represents the officers and non-sworn members of the Tigard Police Department. The development of the Tigard Police Officers' Association has mirrored the growth and progression of the Tigard area and Police Department.

Today the TPOA represents over 60 members. The Association is dedicated to negotiating the best contract for compensation and benefits for its members. Based on the many victories of the TPOA's colorful 45-year heritage, our future looks bright indeed.
